The Story

Halloween is one of Peter Parker's favorite nights of the year — candy, scary movies, trick-or-treaters — but Spider-Man is never off the clock. Hallows' Eve, the mask-wielding antihero introduced in Spider-Man: The Lost Years (1995), is back with a heist that threatens the entire 616, and every enchanted mask she tries on channels a different super-powered fiend. Spidey spends the night webbed, cursed, mummified, and handing out candy to kids who insist his costume is the wrong color. Marvel also promises "Spidey secrets hidden away in this issue." Two backup stories round out the book, including a Lee Gatlin short where Doc Ock hunts for missing candy while Kraven, Sandman, and Electro are busy with a fighting game.
