Originally designed as a prototype doomsday weapon by the Federal Government, the combat robot, now renamed Klaatu, has been reprogrammed by Ricardo to fight as part of a team alongside Dark Cloud, the daughter he should have had in the first place. Normally she would prefer to hide from the world as it has become, but when she discovers that her militaristic neighbor, General Stone, has acquired a nuke, Dark Cloud's love for the land will not let her stand idly by.
